Damn,
Drum machines in the near past, then drum programs, eliminated a lot of drummers in the studio and even live, with perfect beats, time, and no mistakes, which IMO is imperfect and a big mistake.
And guitar players have mostly done the programming of what they think drums are. Ok, a plastic drum machine is better than a really shitty drummer (I hear you barking big dog) but I’m referring to a really tasteful correct human drummer. One “mistake” a human drummer does is to speed up the beat microscopically into the chorus to add excitement, then back down to the verse…that fun is gone with a drum “machine”. We all dance to a computer chip, mostly, and now don’t notice it

Artificially Intelligent art is HERE now where there isn’t a brush stroke, shade, line or color out of place in the snazzy artwork. Every Tom, Dick, and Mary can create a Mona Lisa without being miraculous like Leonardo. There may be no more use for a personality, an artist’s crooked personality to produce notable art.

I guess maybe just the haves, not the have-nots….actually, appropriate, I think.
